Job Description Aramark is Hiring Cooks for Abbvie Food Services Location: Abbvie (8401 Trans-Canada Highway, Saint-Laurent, QC H4S 1Z1) Position: Cook Two positions are currently available: Lead Cook Wage: $24.00/hour Salad Bar Cook Wage: $20.00/hour Schedule / Hours: 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday to Friday Start Date: Immediate Job Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of food items according to established recipes and standards. Prepare salads for the salad bar and catering services. Prepare sandwiches for catering events and functions. Complete food and workstation setup activities. Assemble and present catering trays and platters. Participating in food inventory counts. Demonstrate creativity while meeting client needs and expectations. Ensure the quality of food products and services while maintaining customer satisfaction. Prepare high-quality hot meal offerings. Assist in optimizing food and labor costs. Ensure compliance with management, health, hygiene, and food safety programs and standards. Monitor and maintain service quality and customer satisfaction levels. Respond to operational needs and adapt to changing service priorities. Perform other related duties as required. Qualifications Minimum of three 3 years of experience in food service or the restaurant industry. Experience in catering preparation is considered an asset. Strong organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. MAPAQ Food Hygiene and Sanitation Certification is considered an asset. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Ability to work independently and take initiative. Positive and professional attitude. Customer service oriented with a commitment to customer satisfaction.
