An exciting opportunity has arisen for a fixed term/secondment opportunity (40 hours per week until April 2027) vacancy for the Programme Coordinator position, based at the Whare Koa Community House, within the Māngere-Ōtāhuhu local board. This opportunity will work across Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. He angitūtanga: The opportunity Whare Koa Community House serves a very diverse community. We are looking for a proactive and flexible all-rounder, with experience working with community groups and community partners, to join us and contribute to the planning and delivery of programmes, events and activities to our Māngere-Ōtāhuhu community. The role will coordinate the day-to-day running of Whare Koa, you will also be building and proactively maintaining relationships within our local board and community, as well as actively be involved supporting the Māngere Community Hub team. You will take responsibility for coordinating daily operations and work, working to build a strong team identity and culture. Two key aspects of this role are to model both excellent customer service and interpersonal skills for kaimahi, the aim being to provide and help foster a sense of belonging and connection within the community space for all people.
