About this role
JOB GOAL: To facilitate the efficient operations of the Technology office and support department staff. QUALIFICATIONS:
• Associate Degree preferred.
• Ability to interact with staff, students and the public in a professional and courteous manner.
• In depth knowledge of enterprise computing and mobile operating environments as they may relate to educational and workplace productivity.
• Familiarity with district HR/Financial Management systems (MUNIS), work order systems, and Google Workspace.
• Demonstrated aptitude and experience in educational technology, software implementation, and other business critical systems.
• Familiarity with M.L.B. 30B Procurement Laws.
REPORTS TO: Executive Director of Technology PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Effectively manage/coordinate simultaneous projects and successfully prioritize multiple tasks in a detail-oriented and thorough manner. Works with minimal supervision.
• Communicate effectively and confidentially via phone and email.
• Perform duties in a professional, courteous and accurate manner.
• Maintain well-organized, accurate records and files including inventory documentation of all hardware and software.
• Assist supervisor with organization of various projects including department's ticketing workflow, technology research, and presentations.
• Assist with tracking and maintaining department budget reports.
• Create and maintain credentials for technology services provided by the district.
• Assist district technology staff in providing professional development.
• May provide professional development in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement.
• Maintain confidentiality of all student and staff information.
• May be required to prepare payroll records and accounts receivable/payable in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement.
• Manage supervisor's correspondence, appointments, and calendar where applicable.
• Implement school district policies, guidelines, rules and regulations pertinent to the position as directed.
• Attend and apply professional development to practice.
• Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director of Technology or designee.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Typical office conditions: sitting, bending, stooping, filing, occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds of office supplies/files. Close vision at or correctable to normal range. TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Per Administrative Assistant's collective bargaining agreement - 12 month position
