Reports to: Child Outreach Coordinator/Early Childhood Supervisor

Supervises: Volunteer Screeners

Description of job:

Summary/Description: The Child Outreach Screener assists the Child Outreach Coordinator in conducting Child Outreach Screenings for children ages 3, 4, and 5 and their families in school and community-based settings. This position supports outreach efforts by helping identify developmental needs, engaging families, and ensuring screenings are completed accurately and respectfully. Grant Funded (2) Positions available/Part time/Temporary/ Flexible days/10-15 hours per week. Rate of pay: $18.50/hr Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for efficiently administering selected screening instruments to children between 3 and 5 years old. Perform developmental, social/emotional, speech/language, hearing and vision screenings using approved tool Participate in community events and outreach initiatives Ensure compliance with confidentiality, safety, and child protection policies Deals courteously and effectively with parents and children. Records the results of screening meticulously and accurately. Assumes other duties as may be assigned by the Child Outreach Coordinator.

Technological proficiency in Microsoft Office.
