About this role
We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and dedicated One-on-One Special Education Paraprofessional to provide individualized academic, behavioral, and daily support to a student with disabilities. Under the direction of a certified administrator, the paraprofessional will assist with implementing IEP goals, accommodations, and modifications; provide instructional and behavioral support; collect student progress data; assist with transitions and inclusion in the school environment; and support personal, mobility, or other student needs as appropriate. The ideal candidate will demonstrate patience, empathy, strong communication skills, professionalism, confidentiality, and a genuine commitment to helping students succeed and become as independent as possible. Required background checks and other district-required training must be completed.
