Position Title: Temporary Speech Language Pathologist – Long-Term Substitute District: Mount Greylock Regional School District Location: Williamstown, MA FTE: 1.0 FTE Temporary Assignment
• 0.6 FTE: Williamstown Elementary School (Pre-K through Grade 6)
• 0.4 FTE: Mount Greylock Regional School (Grades 7 through 12) Anticipated Dates: Beginning on or about October 28, 2026 (Approximately 4 weeks) Compensation: $260.00 per day (District Long-Term Educator Rate)
Position Overview The Mount Greylock Regional School District seeks a qualified and collaborative Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, temporary long-term substitute assignment. The position serves students across the district, splitting responsibilities between Williamstown Elementary School (Pre-K–6) and Mount Greylock Regional School (7–12). Key Responsibilities
• Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to students in Pre-K through Grade 12 in accordance with established IEPs and 504 plans.
• Administer speech and language assessments, evaluations, and progress monitoring as needed.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, special educators, service providers, and parents to support student communication needs within the classroom.
• Participate in student team meetings, IEP meetings, and 504 reviews during the assignment period.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation, service logs, and progress reporting in compliance with state special education regulations and district standards.
Qualifications
• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
• Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) License as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage caseloads across diverse grade levels (Pre-K through 12).
• Satisfactory completion of required state background checks, including CORI and SAFIS fingerprinting, prior to employment.
