Position: Hispanic Heritage Advisor, Rogers High School SCHOOL YEAR: 2026-2027 (One Year Only) Starting Date: September 2026 Salary: $1,000.00 (Stipend) Reports to: Directly to the Principal, Director of ELS & Student Services Coordinator
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Should have a work schedule which will enable him/her to meet the advisory obligations without interference with his/her regular working schedule.
• Previous assembly coordination experience desired.
• Present employment at Rogers High School
• Currently teaching and ELD class at Rogers High School
• Demonstrated ability to perform the responsibilities listed below as evidenced by previous experience and the interview process
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Schedules and supervises meetings, and activities related to the Hispanic Heritage Month Assembly on the premises of Rogers High School or approved location.
• Selects and provides appropriate materials (i.e., decorations, food, clean-up, music, audio, slide show, certificates, etc.) and activities and reviews them with the Principal or designee for authorization.
• Organizes and schedules activities to coordinate with the school calendar
• Organizes fundraiser events.
• Communicate with community members, newspaper, families, RHS administration staff and secretaries regarding date and important information.
• Maintains financial accounting records and reports status to the Principal or designee.
• Utilize social media to promote fundraising events, awardees and special guests.
• Coordinate with awardees and their families to write and distribute thank you letters.
• Ensures that students are transported according to school policy.
• Performs any other duties stipulated by the Principal of Rogers High School.
