Description: Ability to modify rehabilitation programs of athletes as indicated. Ability to work on athletic equipment for proper fitting. Ability to speak clearly and professionally to provide information to family and athletes. Ability to perform injury evaluation, to participate in practice and game preparation, and to instruct others through rehab program. Ability to maintain accurate records and manage time efficiently. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Job Summary: Provide athletic training services to student athletes at the high school level.
Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in a related field. 2. Holds a Florida License to practice pursuant to Chapter 486.707, Florida Statutes. 3. Has current certification in standard first aid and cardiovascular pulmonary resuscitation from the American Red Cross or an equivalent certification. 4. Previous experience as an Athletic Trainer in a public school setting preferred. 5. Valid Florida Driver's License. 6. Satisfactory criminal background check and drug screening.
