About this role
This placement will include tasks on the Production Floor to ensure that all product is produced in accordance with the production plan whilst ensuring that quality standards are met, and operating procedures are followed. The participant will receive all training and will be mentored on this placement. They will receive one to one mentoring and will gain valuable experience in the day to day operation of general operatives. There is career progression opportunities with this placement The participant will gain Production line experience as part of a team in a busy environment. The participant will gain practical knowledge and a good work ethic within our organisation.. This is a training and work experience opportunity; no prior experience in this role is necessary. Accredited and/or sector recognised training will be provided to support your placement. Participants are eligible to participate in the WPEP QQI Work Experience Module which was developed by the Education & Training Boards in collaboration with the Department of Social Protection. This optional module will fulfil your accredited training requirements for the WPEP. The person will received the following training: Formal Training: Induction training Manual Handling Production Line/On job Training Health & Safety Training Informal Training: Assembly Training Abrasive Wheel Handling Training
