About this role
The successful candidate will work on erecting and installing structural steelwork on construction sites, together with welding and associated steel fabrication duties. Main Duties include: Erect and install structural steelwork on site. Position, align, fit and secure structural steel components. Bolt and connect structural steelwork in accordance with drawings and specifications. Read and interpret structural steel drawings. Carry out welding of structural steel components and connections. Prepare steel components for welding, cutting, and grinding. Use hand tools, power tools and welding equipment safely and correctly. Follow safety protocols Ability to follow CAD drawings Working on your own initiative Must be able to operate plant machinery Responsibilities: The candidates will be responsible for performing their respective duties with utmost diligence and adhering to the company’s policies and safety regulations. They should be able to work effectively as part of a team aswell as working on their own initiative and contribute to the overall success of our projects.
