QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Managing, administering and implementing safety and occupational health programs; Performing periodic and unscheduled inspections; Evaluating and recommending measures and methods to correct safety and occupational health deficiencies. Major DutiesYou will plan, organize, establish, and direct the Explosives/Ordnance Safety Programs, Occupational Health, General Safety and Industrial Safety Programs, which include all pertinent aspects of personnel, property, and mission protection.You will administer a base-wide safety and health training program.You will formulate and implement local safety directives.You will conduct safety education and awareness.You will supervise the professional and technical work of subordinate workers, such as safety and occupational health specialists, industrial hygienists, and military personnel as assigned responsible for Safety and Occupational Health (OSH) duties.
