Job SummaryYou will serve as a ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT ASSISTANT in the NAVY PAY AND PERSONNEL SUPPORT CENTER (NPPSC) ofTSC GREAT LAKES.
QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Prepare documentation and presentations in proper format; 2) Operate office automation to include software; 3) Provide a variety of support functions such as time keeping, travel arrangement, travel orders, and travel vouchers; and 4) Provide customer service to all employees within the organization. Major DutiesYou will assist staff with questions and issues related to administrative functions, i.e., timekeeping, military leave, travel, human resources, and file management. etc.You will operate automated computer systems to maintain and update electronic records and data.You will compose, type, copy, and edit correspondence and reports from rough to final draft.You will serve as the Command Security Clerk. Monitors and verifies security clearance eligibility of current or newly reporting personnel.
