Major DutiesYou will serve as a senior expert and consultant with authority to manage logistics management operations that involve planning, coordinating, or evaluating the logistical actions that support the ILS Certification Branch.You will apply financial and logistics policies and procedures to effectively manage funding, sparing and system upgrades for all classes of US submarines, AUS Collins class submarines, and FMS cases.You will ensure material used in support of the AN/BYG-1 Combat Control System aboard US, AUS, and FMS submarines and the laboratories at Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Newport.You will plan, conduct, and manage the execution of spares funding obligations and expenditures.You will serve as an expert at integrating separate functions in planning and implementing a logistics management program.You will track and report on program progress, ensuring that all milestones are met on time and within budget.You will utilize your critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and implement process improvements.You will present findings, recommendations, and status updates to senior leadership and other key stakeholders.You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, contracting, and financial management, to achieve program goals.You will partner with internal and external stakeholders will be crucial to facilitate smooth program execution and to drive continuous improvement in acquisition processes.You will foster a collaborative environment will contribute to the overall success of the AN/BYG-1 Combat Control System.
