Job SummaryThis is a Direct Hire Solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain DoD Personnel to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes providing administrative support that includes: tracking personnel actions for incoming and outgoing staff, generating required reports, supporting programs such as travel operations, time and attendance, and maintaining office training calendar.This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05).
Major DutiesMaintain clinic Military and Civilian evaluation trackers, sending the trackers to higher headquarters monthly with the Commander’s signature for review.Track, manage, and submit required clinic hiring actions to higher headquarters. Tracks OTEXs for civilian employees.Track, manage, process, and assist in the completion of all Military and Civilian personnel actions to include, but not limited to, awards, Permanent Change of Station (PCS), extensions, etc.Generate rosters as needed (gains roster, leave roster, staff duty roster, etc.)Serve as the alternate timekeeper and/or certifier in the payroll system (ATAAPS) for the clinic.Serve as the site coordinator and serves as the clinic’s DTS point of contact (POC)Maintain the clinic’s training calendars, to include the external Long Range Training Calendar and near-term calendars.Conduct training system of record for staff and serves as the clinic’s Training Systems Manager.
