Job SummaryYou will serve as a LEAD GENERAL SUPPLY SPECIALIST of MARCORSYSCOM.
QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or NH-02 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: - Possesses subject matter expertise in DoD, DoN, and USMC supply processes, including strategic planning, inventory management, and resolving complex discrepancies. - Demonstrates experience in leading, training, and mentoring supply personnel, directing team activities, and managing performance to meet operational goals. - Capable of conducting in-depth analysis of supply operations, developing innovative solutions for complex challenges, and communicating findings effectively. Major DutiesYou will lead supply support operations by planning, organizing, and controlling inventory, purchasing, distribution, and material management activities to meet mission requirements efficiently and effectively.You will analyze supply requirements, policies, procedures, and performance data to identify shortages, risks, and process improvements, then develop practical solutions that strengthen support and improve operational results.You will provide expert guidance to leaders and staff on supply operations, resolve complex problems, recommend corrective actions, and ensure purchasing and inventory practices comply with applicable federal requirements.You will develop and refine supply policies, procedures, and performance standards, ensuring they remain aligned with organizational goals, changing requirements, and established management controls effectively.You will lead teams by assigning work, setting priorities, monitoring progress, developing employees, and communicating expectations while ensuring team members meet deadlines and maintain required performance standards.You will monitor team workload, accomplishments, and performance, provide coaching and training, resolve personnel concerns, and keep senior leaders informed of significant issues affecting mission support and team effectiveness.
