Job SummaryYou will serve as a SUPERVISORY MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST in the Strategic Management and Improvement Office of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.
QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Leading and managing a team in the successful completion of complex, technically challenging projects to improve organizational effectiveness and efficiency; 2) Developing and implementing strategic plans, including facilitating executive-level reviews and monitoring performance against key strategic goals and objectives; 3) Developing, communicating, and presenting complex data and analysis to senior leadership, including SES and Flag level officers, to inform decision-making and drive organizational change; and 4) Applying comprehensive knowledge of Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) methodologies, data analysis techniques, and best business practices to implement innovative solutions relative to cost savings and return on investment. Major DutiesYou will be responsible for oversight of all Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) projects, including metrics collection, executive reporting, and tracking Lean Six Sigma (LSS) proficiency of black belts.You will negotiate effectively with executive-level management both within and outside DON activities to commit substantial agency/activity resources and implement extensive organizational or business process changes.You will be responsible for all return on investment and cost reporting through the NAVSUP WSS Comptroller and validation of all metrics through technical and financial subject matter experts.You will develop training programs and train personnel in all aspects of Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) directly related to the division projects.You will be responsible for setting team goals, assigning projects to team members with completion dates, monitoring progress, and directing work.
