Specialized experience would be demonstrated by providing guidance or analysis on cyberspace program strategy, plans or policy; leading efforts to document, evaluate, or improve work processes or efficiency; developing cyberspace operations guidance utilizing automated systems. This position is in the Professional Work Category at the Senior Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure.
Major DutiesProvide recognized-expert consulting support for joint strategy, policy, and doctrine development and program support reviews to assure offensive and defensive Operations, Activities and Investments (OAIs) provide the desired results.Provide expert consulting to the development, review, coordination and cross-regional integration/de-confliction of cyber warfare-related operation-level plans (OPLANs) and orders (OPORDERs).Engage in joint campaigning, contingency, Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) planning and strategic assessments with senior cyberspace operations Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).Make effective use of the Joint Operations Planning Process (JOPP) to ensure proposed plans are defined and documented to facilitate and capture results of the iterative review process.Provide authoritative assessments of and assists in the development and integration of supporting annexes in OPLANs and other contingency and crisis action plans.Coordinate, develop and advocate for existing, emerging and long-range issues related to cyberspace operations planning, strategy, policy, doctrine, and organizations.Ensure effective integration of cyberspace operations as a critical element of broad-based war fighting plans.
