A qualified candidate must possess the following: Experience in inventory control, retail sales and cash register operations. Working knowledge of sales inventory is desirable. In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": Prior experience working in a travel/tour office. Prior experience working for MWR or similar agency. Prior experience utilizing RecTrac. Experience MUST be reflected on your Resume at the time of application to be considered for Standard and/or Highly Qualified for this position. Applicants meeting the Highly Preferred criteria will be referred first to the Selecting Official. All other applicants may be referred for consideration at managements request.
Major DutiesResponsible for overall operations of sales store. Makes available to patrons all resale merchandise in store.Prices all merchandise. Monitors stock levels. Orders, receives merchandise, and prepares documents.Provides assistance to patrons in selection of goods. Receives payment, records sales on cash register and makes change, and issues receipts.Individual maintains brochures, price listings and related information for customer use.Performs other duties as assigned.
