QualificationsGS-12: To be eligible at the GS-12 level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level. Specialized experience is defined as: providing technical advice to litigation teams and legal support staff on legal automation requirements and system capabilities; participating in the investigation and litigation of civil and criminal cases; analyzing litigation support requirements to develop or recommend appropriate strategies to meet litigation needs; diagnosing litigation support computer system problems to meet individual user needs and evaluating new developments in legal technology, including software courtroom presentation equipment and trial exhibit preparation.

Major DutiesIf selected for this position, you will serve as a Legal Administrative Specialist for the United States Attorney's Office, District of Montana. Typical work assignments will include: Explains and sets team goals, priorities, and objectives, and provides information to the supervisor on team performance. Oversees team members and monitors workload to ensure it is balanced among team members in accordance with established workflow, while also assisting with tasks and the workload. Planning, creating, and coordinating litigation support services including trial preparation and presentation. Analyzing litigation support software and support systems and taking action to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Organizing, tracking and analyzing voluminous amounts of digital evidence for complex cases handled by the U.S. Attorney's Office. *Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress.*
