Job SummaryThis is a NAF position with the 17th Force Support Squadron, located at Outdoor Recreation, within the Community Services Flight on Goodfellow AFB, San Angelo, Texas. This position is considered Flexible. The position is not guaranteed any hours, but has the potential to work up to 40 hours per week. You may be required to work some nights, weekends and holidays. As a flexible employee, you are not eligible for leave or benefits.

Qualifying Experience: Ability to properly use cleaning and sanitizing solutions. Ability to clean and make adjustments to powered cleaning equipment. Ability to perform the full range of cleaning duties. Ability to follow oral and/or written instructions involving duties with several distinct tasks or steps. Ability to occasionally lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to continuously stand, bend, stoop, and reach for long periods of time.Satisfactory completion of pre-employment physical is required due to heavy lifting/carrying requirements of up to 50 pounds and physical efforts of the position. Must be able to read, write and speak English. Successful completion and favorable adjudication of applicable background investigation (Tier 1 Level) is required.
Major DutiesMaintains cabins, campers and bathhouses in an orderly manner. Sweeps, mops, strips, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floors using industrial type power equipment. Dusts, waxes, and polishes furniture. Dusts ledges and woodwork. Cleans glass partitions, inside and outside windows, campers and cabin porches using stepladders and extension ladders. Maintains restrooms in clean, orderly, and sanitary conditions. Cleans, disinfects, and deodorizes, lavatories, urinals, and toilet bowls. Reports water leaks, clogged drains, and other conditions requiring maintenance to supervisor. Maintains supply of cleaning materials, and advises supervisor when more supplies are needed, or when equipment needs repair of replacement.
