Major DutiesSome of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following: Facilitate water testing, troubleshoot and functionally test water system equipment to isolate defective components and perform repairs, adjusting and replacing parts as required. Install, repair and calibrate analyzers for turbidity, chlorine and pH as well as the trend recorders associated with these analyzers. Install, maintain and repair plumbing systems and fixtures ensuring safety and compliance with applicable regulations. Install, maintain and repair electrical systems in various setting, ensuring safety and compliance with regulations.RequirementsMust provide proof of U.S. citizenship. Appointment subject to background investigation and favorable adjudication. Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service. Direct Deposit participation required. Must have a current Arkansas Type II water Treatment License. You are required to wear a uniform and comply with the uniform standards. A uniform allowance will be provided. You must be at least 18 years of age or older to operate government vehicles. Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds.
