Job SummaryThe executive will lead one of the Federal Government's largest financial management shared services organizations, delivering enterprise accounting, financial reporting, enterprise resource planning (ERP), and financial operations. The executive leads modernization of mission-critical financial systems, oversees hundreds of millions of dollars in operations, partners with agency CFOs and CIOs across government, and shapes the future of Federal financial management.

To attend the event, please use the following link: https://www.usajobs.gov/Event/5693 *** As the Deputy Assistant Commissioner for Financial Management Shared Services (FMSS), you will serve as a senior executive within the Center for Financial Management (CFM), delivering mission-critical financial management services across Treasury and to federal agency customers. Provides executive leadership for government-wide and agency-level accounting, financial reporting, financial systems, internal controls, and shared service operations. Leads daily FMSS operations to ensure accuracy, reliability, compliance, strong internal controls, and high-quality customer service across all financial management service lines. Guides enterprise modernization efforts, including the transition to standardized, automated, and shared service/Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) financial management solutions while maintaining operational stability. Provides executive oversight of Treasury-level accounting and financial reporting functions, including general ledger governance, financial systems operations, audit readiness, risk management, and service delivery performance. Establishes priorities, allocates human and financial resources, monitors operational performance, and resolves complex service delivery challenges. The Deputy Assistant Commissioner represents the Assistant Commissioner for FMSS in engagements with Treasury bureaus, federal agencies, contractors, vendors, and financial institutions to coordinate priorities, manage expectations, and strengthen partnerships.
