About this role
The Key Responsibilities As Electrical Engineer you will be tasked with several key responsibilities that ensure the efficiency and safety of electrical systems. These include:
• Designing, developing, and testing electrical equipment and systems, focusing on safety, efficiency, and reliability.
• Analysing electrical systems and components to identify hazards, defects, or the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
• Directing and coordinating manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and operations requirements.
• Performing detailed calculations to establish standards and specifications.
• Using computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
• Preparing specifications for purchases of electrical equipment and materials.
• Supervising or training project team members as necessary.
• You will work closely with senior engineers, project managers, maintenance team, and cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of Maintenance and new projects within scope, time, and budget constraints.
• Maintenance Responsibility. HSE compliance and Lead the team of technician for daily Electrical maintenance activities, along with trouble shooting MV/LV all incomer. switch gear and PCC. MCC maintenance along with all PLC and control system of automation . • Project Coordination: Assist in the coordination of contractors and plant personnel to facilitate process and equipment improvements across multiple plant locations for automation and electrical works. • Vendor Management: Establish and manage vendor coordination for electrical goods supply and QA/QC approvals and qualifications. • Capex Management: ensuring projects stay within approved guidelines and reporting discrepancies to the direct manager. • Technical Support: Work closely with plant maintenance departments and assist with troubleshooting, upgrades, and installations for process improvements, safety upgrades, and plant operations of electromechanical and automations. • Documentation & Reporting: Prepare detailed technical drawings, project scopes, and reports using AutoCAD and other software tools. Updating Electrical control circuits drawing etc. • Communication: Facilitate clear and timely communication across all levels of the organization, including plant management, department heads, and external vendors. • Problem-Solving & Root Cause Analysis: Assist with identifying and solving technical challenges in plant operations, performing root cause analysis where necessary. • Compliance & Safety: Ensure that all activities comply with corporate safety initiatives, quality standards, and federal, state, and local regulations. The ideal candidate for this position:
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering/ Automation Engineer • Basic knowledge of PLC systems (Siemens S7, TIA Portal) and programming, SCADA development, and VFDs. • Familiarity with IT networking components, including servers, virtual machines, and data communications. • Hands-on experience with medium and low voltage electrical systems is must. • Hands-on experience in reading writing and understanding electrical schematics. • Competency in AutoCAD (2016 or later) for developing electrical schematics, power distribution layouts, and wiring diagrams. • Siemens PLC programming in S7 & TIA Portal experience preferred. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for project tracking and reporting. • Is fluent in English.
• Has strong leadership skills, ability to troubleshoot and prioritize.
