About the job: Texas Instruments is looking for an energetic engineer passionate in delivering best quality products and services to our customers in high-demanding fast-paced work environment. The Supplier Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring that externally sourced materials, components, and services meet Texas Instruments' quality and reliability standards before they enter the manufacturing process. Acting as the primary quality liaison between TI and its external supply base, this role partners with suppliers to establish quality expectations, identify risk, and drive continuous improvement. Responsibilities include:

• Develop, apply, revise, and maintain quality standards for incoming materials and components sourced from external suppliers and vendors • Lead supplier qualification activities including initial audits, capability assessments, and approval processes for new or existing suppliers • Review and analyze supplier quality data, inspection reports, and returned/rejected materials to identify trends and systemic issues • Collaborate cross-functionally with Procurement, Manufacturing Engineering, and Design teams to evaluate supplier risk and drive supply chain quality improvements • Manage supplier quality incidents using structured problem-solving methodologies (8D, 3x5-Why) ensuring effective root cause identification and implementation of corrective & preventive actions • Prepare and maintain documentation for incoming inspection procedures, acceptance criteria, control plans, and quality agreements • Support new product introduction activities by working with suppliers to validate process capability and meet design intent • Conduct on-site supplier audits and process reviews; provide feedback and improvement guidance to suppliers

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Material Engineering, Material Science or related technical discipline • Fresh graduates and up to 2 years of working experience as a Supplier Quality Engineer. • Experience in a Semiconductor Assembly & Test Manufacturing environment would be an added advantage. Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong supplier engagement, analytical & problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in fast-paced and rapidly changing environments • Experience with supplier audits, corrective action processes, and quality system management • Strong executive communication skills both verbal and writing with proven experience driving supplier technical 8D reports and risk assessments • Understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes from Incoming, Front of Line, End of Line, Test and Packing • Proficiency in core quality tools: SPC, MSA, Cpk/Ppk, DOE, FMEA, Control Plan • Confident and proven working experience that deploy negotiation skills • Data analysis skills; experience with Excel, JMP, AI or similar tools • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Demonstrated strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills • Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions • Certified Lead auditor IATF16949 or VDA6.3 • Certified Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt and advanced proficiency in statistical software such as JMP • Hands-on experience on AI/ Automation in converting labor-intensive tasks such as manual data analysis, trend monitoring or task tracking • Knowledge and experience in new package/ technology introduction and review process and supplier change control management
