• 2nd Shift: 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM (Mon-Fri) • Must be comfortable with occasional overtime Job DescriptionThe Maintenance Technician will perform basic diagnostic tests on electromechanical parts such as drives, motors, and PLCs. The role involves troubleshooting damaged machinery and equipment, determining necessary repairs, and safely repairing or replacing broken or malfunctioning parts. The technician will disassemble, reassemble, adjust, recalibrate, clean, or lubricate as required. Tests will be conducted to ensure satisfactory repairs are completed, and performance will be monitored and calibrated to meet specifications. The technician will manage installations, oversee projects, and supervise crews as necessary, while creating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures and keeping detailed records.Responsibilities
• Perform basic diagnostic tests on electromechanical parts. • Troubleshoot damaged machinery and determine needed repairs. • Safely repair or replace broken or malfunctioning parts. • Disassemble and reassemble machinery as needed. • Adjust, recalibrate, clean, or lubricate machinery. • Conduct tests to ensure satisfactory repairs. • Monitor performance and calibrate equipment. • Manage installation projects and supervise crews. • Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures. Skills
• Mechanical maintenance and preventative maintenance. • 3 to 7 years of experience in maintenance within industrial, manufacturing, or production environments. • Testing and repairing electromechanical parts such as drives, motors, and PLCs. • Electronic, electrical, and mechanical machine maintenance. • Electronic troubleshooting around controls, PLC (ladder logic), computer programs, solenoids, etc. • Electrical troubleshooting and repairs in control panels, drives, motors, use of voltmeters, running wire, Star/Delta, relays, fuses, breakers, thermocouples, etc. • Mechanical troubleshooting and repairs including changing bearings, motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, blowers, fans, pumps, and machine parts. Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Ability to read and work from prints and drawings. • CNC experience including maintenance, setup, troubleshooting, and programming is a plus. • Basic maintenance skills such as changing lights, moving outlets, and unclogging toilets.
