Mechanical Assembler- Pay up to 22.09/hr- IN. Location: Lafayette, IN Pay: $21.34/hr- $22.09/hrShift: 1st- 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM 2nd- 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM 3rd- 10:30 PM to 6:30 AMKey Responsibilities
• Assemble large diesel and natural gas engines using blueprints and work instructions. • Use hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and torque equipment. • Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and SOPs. • Perform mechanical troubleshooting and basic repairs. • Operate cranes, hoists, and lifting devices safely. • Conduct quality inspections and verify torque specifications. • Document work progress using computer systems. • Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements. Required Qualifications
• Experience in a mechanical, manufacturing, automotive, diesel, construction, farming, maintenance, or industrial environment. • Experience using hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and torque equipment. • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and work instructions. • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. • Basic computer skills for reviewing instructions and documenting work. • Ability to pass written and hands-on assessments during training. • Steel-toe or composite-toe shoes required. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.34 - $22.09/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
