About this role

Conventional Lathe Operator Conventional turning outdated? Not in our work! Alongside CNC machining, conventional techniques continue to offer plenty of challenges. You will perform turning operations on components up to Ø1,500 x 8,000 mm, weights up to 8,000 kg. Most parts are one-offs, requiring precise work, patience, and perseverance. First time right is more important than speed. In addition to conventional turning, knowledge of 3-axis CNC milling is preferred. If you don’t have this yet, no problem! You are eager to learn and willing to develop these skills. We understand that it can take 1 to 2 years for a new colleague to reach the desired level in our field. We start with a one-year contract, but aim to convert it to a permanent position as soon as possible. We work daytime shifts, and a 4-day workweek is available if you prefer. Requirements • At least a level 3 vocational education (MBO 3) or equivalent; a completed qualification is a plus but not required. • Hands-on experience in machining. • Practical, solution-oriented, and eager to learn. Personal qualities • Patient and persistent, with a strong work ethic • Thinks before starting a task • Works in a structured and precise manner, with a clear understanding of the job at hand • Able to work independently, but also thrives in a team environment • Speaks English Examples of jobs - Compressor rotor - Double-acting hydraulic cylinder - Screw compressor housing - Turbine shaft - Drive roller - Propeller shaft Please send your resume/cv and motivation to [email protected]
