Solliciteren MWvoorman Staalbouw As a working foreman, you will be based in our new steel construction workshop in Gorinchem, which is currently under construction and will soon become your primary workplace. You will join a newly formed team where craftsmanship, quality, and collaboration are at the heart of everything we do. In this role, you combine active participation in production with the leadership of your colleagues on the shop floor. This position is open to two types of candidates: those already working as a foreman, or highly independent construction metalworkers/welders ready for the next step in their career. In either case, you are involved in the daily production work and take full responsibility for the execution of projects. You will work on a project basis, leading a small team of colleagues. You will delegate tasks, monitor progress, and ensure that work is completed according to schedule and technical drawings. Precision and quality control are vital aspects of this role and form a core part of your daily activities. The hands-on nature of the job is essential; you will be actively involved in the production process. You act as the vital link between management and the workshop, translating instructions and schedules into practical results. With your technical expertise and experience, you are a natural point of contact for your colleagues, contributing to a positive team environment and high standards of quality. You possess extensive experience as a construction metalworker/welder and are accustomed to working independently from technical drawings.
