You will combine vocational training with practical experience and work under the guidance of experienced professionals on painting and maintenance projects for private and commercial clients in Zoetermeer and the surrounding area. Job Description As an MBO Level 2 trainee painter , you will work under supervision on various painting and maintenance activities. Step by step, you will learn how to properly prepare, carry out and neatly finish painting work. You will gain practical experience in preparing and repairing surfaces, sanding, filling, priming, painting and applying various paint and finishing coats. During the training, you will develop the basic knowledge and practical skills needed to become a skilled and independent painter. You will learn to work with different materials and tools and to work safely, neatly and in accordance with applicable quality and workmanship standards. What We Expect from You - You are following or starting a suitable MBO Level 2 painting course through the BBL system - An interest in the painting trade and the motivation to learn the profession in practice - A motivated and professional work attitude - You are willing to learn new technical skills - You work carefully and accurately - You work well with colleagues and are open to guidance and supervision - A professional and customer-oriented attitude towards clients and colleagues - In possession of a VCA Basic Safety Certificate or willing to obtain one - Preferably in possession of a driving licence (Category B) and your own transport - Living in Zoetermeer or the immediate surrounding area
