You ensure that shipments are carried out efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. You are responsible for planning and coordinating shipments and ensuring that they are picked up and delivered on time, efficiently, and cost-effectively. In doing so, you maintain an overview and liaise with various parties, both internally and externally. Job description As a Transport Planner, you plan and coordinate daily air and road shipments and ensure that shipments are handled efficiently and on time. You process export, import, and customs documentation and oversee compliance with applicable transport regulations and internal procedures. You maintain contact with carriers, freight forwarders, suppliers, and internal departments, identify delays, and resolve logistical challenges. Because the De Hoek Group operates internationally, you'll be involved in shipments worldwide and work closely with Purchasing, Operations, Sales, and Warehousing. Degree A completed degree in Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain, or a related field.
