As Head of the PMSO (Project Management and Support Office) Section for Science Projects, you will manage a team of Controllers, providing project control and management support services across all major missions in the Science programme. You will also support the professional development of the Project Controllers through continuous improvements of controlling and management support processes, digitalisation, management reporting, including dashboards, transparency, efficiency, cooperation and knowledge-sharing. You will be responsible for the overall planning, monitoring and controlling of the programmatic aspects of the projects/activities within the Projects Department and will have multiple interfaces within and outside ESA. You will work closely with the Head of Department as well as the Project Managers to support programmatic decision-making, and you will report hierarchically to the Head of the BUC & PMSO. Duties You will lead a team of Project Controllers, providing project control and management support to all projects of the Science Projects Department to enable delivery on time, within budget and within scope, including: - preparing, developing and maintaining the overall programmatic aspects in coordination with the Department Head and Project Managers, covering areas such as cost, schedule, workforce, risks and geographical return; - implementing and oper...
