As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you are the key link between Production, Planning & Control, Purchasing, and Logistics. You monitor material availability on a daily basis and ensure that production orders can be executed as smoothly as possible. You identify and coordinate material shortages, set priorities, and monitor agreements and follow-up actions. When bottlenecks occur, you coordinate with the relevant departments and ensure that an appropriate solution is implemented quickly. You proactively keep production informed about the expected availability of materials and adjust planning when circumstances change. In addition, you maintain factory schedules and planning data, process rush orders, and implement changes to the Master Production Schedule (MPS). You also actively maintain the production departments' workbenches. In short: you keep the flow of goods moving and ensure that production always knows what to expect.
