Finance Business Support Risk Model Oversight Expert 01-07-2026 7.499 - 11.925 Senior Amsterdam As a Risk Model Oversight Expert at ING, you oversee regulatory credit risk model changes, challenge and advise senior risk stakeholders, support approvals and IMI quality assurance, coordinate IRB/IFRS9 model standards, and represent ING in ECB communications and investigations. Direct solliciteren Neem contact op Automatisch verbeterd voor betere leesbaarheid Risk Model Oversight Expert Role purpose: Provide independent oversight of risk models to ensure they are fit for purpose, compliant with internal standards and regulatory expectations, and supported by strong governance and controls. Key responsibilities - Review and challenge model development, validation, and ongoing monitoring activities across credit, market, liquidity, and operational risk (as applicable). - Assess model assumptions, methodology, limitations, and performance; ensure appropriate use, documentation, and change control. - Oversee model risk management frameworks, including model inventory, tiering, validation schedules, and issue remediation tracking. - Provide effective challenge to model outputs used in capital, stress testing, pricing, IFRS 9/CECL, and risk appetite reporting (as relevant). - Prepare clear oversight reports and present findings to senior management, model governance committees, and auditors/regulators. - Define and monitor key risk indicators for model risk; escalate material concerns and drive closure of actions. - Partner with model owners, validators, and risk stakeholders to improve controls, transparency, and model lifecycle governance. Required skills and qualifications - Model risk expertise: strong understanding of model lifecycle, validation concepts, and governance standards. - Quantitative skills: ability to interpret statistical/ML methods, back-testing, benchmarking, and sensitivity analysis. - Regulatory knowl...
