About this role
This role is for a curious learner with a keen interest in the growing world of international EPR (WEEE/e-waste, batteries, and packaging) and product environmental sustainability. You will be providing data management, support, and advisory services for our internal team and our clients. You will work on a wide range of topics and activities supporting our client base in compliance with these global laws. Support the Amsterdam team with research, account management activities, engagement with national authorities across Europe. Develop expertise over time on EPR systems, processes, and rules Manage client-specific implementations of compliance requirements. Liaise with national environmental compliance authorities and organizations in multiple countries to obtain information and arrange registrations Maintain our compliance database, customer files, and other related information across several software applications Work with data to complete client reporting requirements. Candidate will have enough year of working experience to know what the candidate ise good at. It can be in any field, preferably in connection with data management (product or supply chain) or project management in any industry A plus: - Open to diverse work and educational backgrounds including environmental studies, legal, policy, engineering, international trade compliance, supply chain procurement, political science, international affairs, economics, business, finance, liberal arts, etc. - Experience international trade and supply chain - Experience with product compliance or audits - Experience in databases and data management Wij zijn een klein internationaal team van 8 personen in Amsterdam, met daarnaast een team van 12 personen in de VS. We werken veel met elkaar samen en houden ons allemaal bezig met verschillende onderwerpen. We vinden het belangrijk om onze teamleden verder te ontwikkelen in een richting die goed bij hen past, bijvoorbeeld meer richting datamanagement of juist meer richting compliance- en regelgevingonderzoek. Tegelijkertijd doen we allemaal deels hetzelfde werk, zodat we elkaar kunnen helpen en werk van elkaar kunnen overnemen wanneer dat nodig is. De regelgeving verandert voortdurend en al onze klanten zijn internationale bedrijven waar eveneens veel verandert. Dit maakt de functie erg afwisselend en dynamisch.
