Location: Work based around Limerick and Tipperary but will be required to travel around Munster for work as jobs require. Accommodation will be catered for should this occur Full Time Main Purpose: Working on all aspects of poling/overhead telecoms network with excellent pay rates, Experience working on Eir/BT network and safe working procedures an advantage, motivated and be able to work on own initiative. Note this job will involve working a HIAB drilling auger on the back of truck or changing over cables from cherrypicker and from time to time will be required complete poles off road. Experience of Working on machinery and advantage as may be required to help out on maintenance tasks at Limerick depot Key Duties/ Responsibilities: Building Overhead Network on new National Broadband Ireland network. Erecting/Recover Poles Erecting/Recover Aerial Cable Any other overhead construction duties Skills and Experience: Truck licence or experience driving large machinery an advantage SLG, Street works and lugs training a major advantage Experience working with machinery and ability to problem solve essential Experience working on operating Pole Erection Units (TRUCK CRANE) or cherrypicker an advantage but not essential Experience working with excavators, etc in close proximity to Overhead and Underground Services or from construction background an advantage General: We wish to recruit an enthusiastic workforce to carry out work on the Telecoms Network for National Broadband Work. The work involves the erection and recovery of poles and Transferring of Aerial cables. Training will be provided to those candidates deemed suitable Benefits Excellent pay rates for the right candidate based on experience and qualifications. Good experience as ground worker or from a agri contracting background will be taken into account, all training will be provided but candidate must be willing to work on own initiative and travel as work requires.
