Job Title: Baker Employer’s Name: Mad Brothers Limited, T/A Mad Brothers Address: 17 Nephin Road, Dublin, D07 N8K7 Annual Salary: €36,605 per annum Weekly Hours: 39 hours per week The employee will work as a Baker specializing in Brazilian cakes, desserts, and confectionery products, including custom birthday cakes and traditional Brazilian sweets. Main duties and responsibilities include: - Preparing, baking, decorating, and finishing cakes and desserts - Producing Brazilian-style birthday cakes and specialty pastries - Preparing fillings, toppings, doughs, creams, and confectionery products - Designing and decorating custom cakes according to customer requirements - Maintaining consistency and quality standards in all products - Managing ingredient preparation and stock rotation - Ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained in the kitchen - Following all food safety and HACCP procedures - Assisting with menu development and seasonal products - Working collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house team - Maintaining an organized and efficient workstation - Performing other reasonable duties related to the role as required by management Requirements: - Experience as a Baker - Knowledge of baking techniques and equipment - Ability to read and follow recipes and instructions - Attention to detail - Excellent organizational and time-management skills - Good communication skills
