Main duties of the job As a Care Assistant at a Barchester care home, your role is to ensure residents receive the highest quality care and support they deserve. You'll provide daily living assistance, support, and companionship, making sure each resident enjoys their day. Your tasks will vary daily, creating a challenging yet rewarding work environment, from assisting with meals to following care plans and ensuring residents receive one-on-one time. Successful candidates will have experience in elderly care, a proactive attitude, excellent communication skills, empathy, and a compassionate nature.
