JOB DESCRIPTION Operations Officer - Trading (M/F/D) Officer | Operations - Trading POSITION OVERVIEW Job Title Operations Officer - Trading (M/F/D) Job Level Officer Department Operations - Trading Reports To Senior Officer or Team Lead - Trading Experience 2–6 years of relevant experience Type Permanent, Full-Time ABOUT THE ROLE As an Officer in the Trading Operations team, you work independently and take full ownership of your assigned processes. You ensure the accurate and timely processing of trades, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, and contribute actively to operational quality and compliance. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Ensure accurate and timely execution, settlement, and reconciliation of trades; independently resolve routine discrepancies. • Coordinate periodic portfolio rebalancing activities within defined frameworks. • Monitor operational KPIs and identify processing risks or inefficiencies; propose practical solutions. • Produce operational and management reporting accurately and on time. • Ensure trading activities comply with internal governance and regulatory requirements; flag issues promptly. • Act as a reliable contact for operational stakeholders; perform quality control and contribute to process improvement initiatives. Core Competencies: Organisation • Problem-solving • Initiative • Collaboration • Process mindset • Client focus YOUR PROFILE Experience & Knowledge • 2–6 years in financial services operations, ideally with exposure to trading or securities processing. • Solid understanding of trade lifecycle, settlement processes, and reconciliation principles. Technical Skills & Education • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel); experience with trading or settlement systems is an advantage. Fluency in English required, further languages an asset. • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Banking, or Business Administration; relevant certification (e.g. trading operations, settlement) is an asset. Personal Attributes • Accurate and quality-driven; proactive in identifying and resolving issues. • Strong team player, comfortable managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
