Description: For our department IT Quality Assurance within General Services, we are looking for a (an): IT Quality Assurance Specialist (m/f/x) Main duties: • Interpret and build upon Luxair's quality assurance standards, and ensure that our final products observe those standards • Document quality assurance activities with internal reporting and audits • Assist with new standards for development and design, with improvements, and create testing protocols for implementation across all business units • Plan, execute, and oversee inspection and testing of incoming and outgoing product to confirm quality conformance to specifications and quality deliverables • Develop or update any complaints and inspection procedures to ensure capture and investigation, as well as proper documentation of complaints • Drive and push for high level of quality of all product related topics within IT, business and with external stakeholders • Observe and raise opportunities for new features, analyses and prepare technical specifications of new integrations, informs about potential implementation gaps • Provide relevant information in product status reports, technical documentation, specifications, user manual or feedback; • Lead the testing efforts for the product or application, in a disciplined, session-based approach • Define the scope of testing within the context of release/delivery • Development and definition of tests methods and testing tools • Build tools, scripts, automate, query various database types to help with broader or deeper testing coverage • Highlight bugs source, finding ways to reproduce weird behaviors, bug advocacy • Management of testing activities (analysis, test planning and organization). Required profile: Minimum required criteria: • Be holder of a bachelor degree “BAC& 3” in Information Technology or equivalent combination of education and experience in a similar position • Professional certification, such as Six Sigma, Quality Engineer, or Quality Auditor • High proficiency in computer technology and systems operations • Relevant experience in quality analysis, testing, management, engineering, assurance or similar • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, taking a disciplined and systematic approach • Able to work efficiently in an agile and other iterative style team environment with proactive work attitude • Show empathy, honesty, integrity and accountability. Good listening skills and ability to defend stakeholder needs • Demonstrated knowledge of testing best practices, version control practices and defect management practice • Able to prioritize tasks alone depending on changing product or project risks • Be autonomous and able to work closely with Product Owners and other stakeholders to understand their expectations at a deep level but can act as a team player and a coach/mentor too • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (French and/or German is considered as an advantage). The ideal candidate: Knowledge of Luxemburgish or any other language is considered as asset.
