About the Role We're seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Financial Controller to support planning, reporting, and performance analysis across product, customer and grant management. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, has strong analytical instincts, and enjoys transforming complex financial data into meaningful insights and processes. Key Responsibilities • Build and maintain financial models, forecasts, and scenario analyses. • Track financial performance against budgets and KPIs, providing actionable insights. • Prepare monthly financial reports and variance analyses. • Implement and maintain accounting, reporting, and performance workflows using Odoo. • Support financial operations including budgeting cycles, cost tracking, and financial close processes. • Contribute to grant budget oversight and R&D cost monitoring. • Identify process improvements and support clients in establishing financial best practices. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field. • 2+ years of experience in FP&A, business controlling, accounting or financial operations. • Demonstrated experience using Odoo for financial tracking and reporting (required). • Solid understanding of financial statements, budgeting processes, and cost analysis. • Excellent analytical and organizational skills. • Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to work cross-functionally. Nice to Have • Background in consulting, financial operations, or service-based businesses. • Experience with R&D grants, cost accounting, or funding compliance. • Interest in helping organizations scale financial systems with clarity and structure.
