About this role
Responsibilities Inventory, map, and classify critical data assets along with their associated flows and dependencies. Define and implement data management policies, standards, and procedures across the organization. Establish data protection requirements and access rules based on classification and the principle of least privilege. Facilitate training and awareness sessions to drive the adoption of data governance principles and best practices. Ensure data quality, discoverability, and documentation through master data management and lineage modeling. Requirements 7+ years of experience in Data Governance and Data Quality management. Strong understanding of DAMA-DMBOK or similar data governance frameworks. Practical experience with governance and metadata management tools such as Collibra , Informatica , or OvalEdge . Proven track record in Change Management and technical documentation within complex environments. Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills to align business and IT objectives. You are fluent in French or Dutch with professional proficiency in English . Nice to Haves Knowledge of NIS2 regulations and standards such as ISO/IEC 38505 , ISO 8000 , or GDPR . Knowledge of data modeling using UML or Archimate . Professional experience within regulated sectors like finance or the public sector.
