About this role
Setup & Preparation: Prepare and mount molds onto injection molding machines. Machine Configuration: Set up, adjust, and fine-tune processing parameters on production machinery. Process Optimization: Ensure a continuous, correct, and safe production process. Technical Troubleshooting: Provide technical support during malfunctions, quick changeovers, or process deviations. Operations & Monitoring: Start up and monitor production lines, load machinery, and perform quality checks on finished products. Documentation & Safety: Draft production and incident reports, verify production orders, inspect safety mechanisms, and consistently adhere to safety and environmental standards. Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience as a Mold Setter in the plastics/polymer industry. Practical experience with ARBURG and ENGEL machinery is required. (Experience with Stork machinery is a plus, though these are being phased out). Technical Professional Bachelor's degree. Willing and flexible to work in a 3-shift rotation. Precise worker with a strong sense of responsibility, able to work independently. a good basic knowledge of English; willing to learn Dutch Willingness to work in a continuous shift system (24/7 operations)
