Let's Work is recruiting a production technician to work two shifts for an international market leader in Roeselare . You will be responsible for providing technical support within an automated production environment, which includes CNC machines, robots, milling machines and sawing machines. In the event of malfunctions, you will analyse and resolve the problem as efficiently as possible, whilst also carrying out preventive maintenance and making improvements to the machinery. You will identify, analyse and pragmatically resolve technical faults in the machinery so that production can resume quickly Following technical interventions, you document the work carried out and the solutions implemented You carry out preventive maintenance in accordance with the existing maintenance plan Together with the Technical Manager, you'll develop ideas for improvements and ensure their practical implementation Within the machinery fleet, you'll work with CNC machines, milling and sawing machines, handling and pick & place robots, and welding robots When technical problems arise, you take independent responsibility and actively seek a workable solution A technical qualification with prior experience in electromechanics forms the basis for this role Experience within an industrial production environment is important, preferably with CNC, robots, fully automated production lines and machine maintenance Knowledge of motors and gearboxes, compressed air, hydraulics, electricity and HMI is very useful Experience with welding is essential; a VCA certificate and a forklift or aerial work platform licence are an advantage Fluency in English is important for internal communication on the shop floor. You should also be comfortable using basic PC applications You are hands-on, independent, keen to learn and results-oriented and attach great importance to 5S and the safe handling of valuable equipment
