About the Role We are looking for skilled and motivated Diagnostic Technicians to join a professional truck maintenance team in Bruges. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing trucks from start to finish, ensuring that each vehicle is serviced to the highest standards of quality and safety. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues in trucks Perform maintenance and repairs, including oil and filter changes, brake installation and bleeding, and component replacements Handle each assigned vehicle from A to Z, ensuring all required tasks are completed efficiently and accurately Document all work performed in line with company procedures Follow established time standards, safety guidelines, and quality requirements Cooperate with the workshop team and report to the workshop supervisor Requirements Education: Technical qualification or vocational training in truck mechanics or equivalent Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a truck technician or diagnostic mechanic Driving licence: Category B required (C is an advantage) Languages: Basic communication skills in English or French Availability: Occasional on-call duty (once per month); no standard weekend work Key Competencies Strong problem-solving ability and technical insight Team player with a proactive and reliable work attitude Adheres to safety standards and consistently uses PPE Open communicator, direct and honest in feedback Motivated to develop and grow within a professional workshop environment What’s Offered Free coffee and water at the workplace Stable, full-time position in a supportive, no-nonsense environment with a good work-life balance Requirements Education: Technical qualification or vocational training in truck mechanics or equivalent Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a truck technician or diagnostic mechanic Driving licence: Category B required (C is an advantage) Languages: Basic communication skills in English or French Availability: Occasional on-call duty (once per month); no standard weekend work You hold a valid for wheel driving licence Key Competencies Strong problem-solving ability and technical insight and strong diagnostic skills Team player with a proactive and reliable work attitude Adheres to safety standards and consistently uses PPE Open communicator, direct and honest in feedback Motivated to develop and grow within a professional workshop environment
