Responsibilities
• Design, build, and test software prototypes and PoCs.
• Develop solutions using modern frameworks, APIs, cloud services, and AI-assisted development tools.
• Implement integrations, automation, and data-driven features.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Data teams.
• Evaluate prototype performance and document key learnings.
• Experiment with emerging technologies and quickly learn new platforms, tools, and SDKs.
• Present demos and share findings with stakeholders.
• The role involves daily (or regular) communication with pan-Canadian stakeholders.
Qualifications
• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Software Development, or a related field.
• Experience programming through coursework, personal projects, internships, or hackathons.
• Familiarity with web development, APIs, databases, or cloud technologies.
• Exposure to AI development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code) is an asset.
• Strong curiosity for emerging technologies and innovation.
• Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.
