[2:40 p.m., 21/8/2026] Sara Martinez: Job Summary: English Responsible for the operation, monitoring, maintenance, and chemical treatment control of cooling systems (cooling towers, chillers, heat exchangers, and water systems) supporting chemical operations and automotive production processes, ensuring operational reliability, efficiency, and full compliance with Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) standards. Accountability and Scope: · Operation of cooling and water systems · Chemical dosing and water treatment control · Preventive and corrective maintenance · Monitoring of temperature, flow, and system parameters · Environmental compliance (water discharge, chemical handling) · Operational continuity support Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: · Operate cooling towers, chillers, and water systems · Perform chemical dosing and water quality testing · Monitor system performance (temperature, pressure, flow) · Execute preventive maintenance on pumps, valves, and filters · Inspect equipment for scaling, corrosion, and fouling · Maintain logs of system operation and chemical consumption · Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis · Ensure compliance with EHS and environmental regulations Measures of Performance: Equipment availability ≥ 98% PM compliance ≥ 95% Water quality compliance Zero environmental incidents
Qualifications and Experience: Technical degree (HVAC, maintenance, industrial) 2–4 years experience in cooling or utilities systems Knowledge of water treatment chemistry Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge Experience in industrial/automotive environment preferred
