Position Overview HRI Hospitality is seeking an experienced Complex Director of Revenue Management to lead revenue strategy for The Barnett and Maison Métier, two distinctive lifestyle hotels located in the heart of New Orleans.
The Barnett features 234 guest rooms and approximately 16,000 square feet of meeting and event space, along with a rooftop pool, five signature dining venues, and vibrant communal spaces. A restored Art Deco hotel just steps from the French Quarter, The Barnett offers an authentic New Orleans experience through curated events, live music, standout food and beverage, and versatile meeting and event spaces. Its location near the Caesars Superdome positions the hotel to capture a dynamic mix of leisure, group, corporate, and citywide demand.
Maison Métier complements The Barnett with an intimate, luxury hospitality experience and distinct positioning within the New Orleans market. Together, the two hotels require a thoughtful and highly strategic approach to revenue management that recognizes the unique customer, positioning, demand drivers, and revenue opportunities of each property.
The Complex Director of Revenue Management will be responsible for developing and executing the overall revenue strategy for both hotels, partnering closely with property and corporate leadership to optimize occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, market share, and profitability. This role requires a hands-on revenue leader who can move beyond reporting and pricing to deeply understand each hotel's business and develop individualized strategies that maximize performance.
Minimum Requirements
• Minimum of 5 years of hotel revenue management experience • Minimum of 2 years of revenue management experience supporting multiple properties • Experience with Hyatt revenue management systems strongly preferred • Full-service, luxury, lifestyle, or complex hotel experience preferred • Strong understanding of group displacement, transient strategy, segmentation, forecasting, and market analysis • Exceptional knowledge of Microsoft Office tools • Strong strategic, analytical, and creative capabilities • College degree (BS/BA) preferred
Job Duties Key responsibilities of the Complex Director of Revenue Management include:
• Lead all revenue management strategy for The Barnett and Maison Métier, developing individualized strategies based on each hotel's positioning, demand patterns, customer segments, and competitive landscape. • Develop and execute strategies designed to maximize occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, rooms profitability, and overall market performance. • Maintain a deep understanding of the New Orleans market, including citywide events, conventions, festivals, compression periods, seasonality, competitive activity, and other demand generators. • Evaluate the appropriate balance of group and transient business, conducting displacement analysis and providing strategic recommendations on business acceptance. • Partner closely with the Complex General Manager, Sales leadership, Marketing, Operations, and Corporate Revenue Management to ensure commercial strategies are aligned. • Monitor booking pace, pickup, demand trends, competitive pricing, inventory, channel mix, and segmentation to identify opportunities and adjust strategy proactively. • Analyze weekly and monthly STR reporting, identify changes in market share and competitive performance, and develop actionable strategies based on findings. • Lead the monthly forecast review process for both hotels with a goal of maintaining forecast accuracy within +/- 5%. • Participate in daily, weekly, and monthly revenue strategy discussions, including RevMax, Sales Strategy Meetings, property visits, and ongoing commercial strategy conversations. • Support development of the Annual Operating Plan, annual budget, and long-term revenue strategy for both properties. • Partner with Sales leadership to identify need periods, establish appropriate group parameters, evaluate opportunities, and provide high-level direction for the annual RFP process. • Collaborate with Marketing to develop targeted campaigns and promotions that generate measurable demand during identified need periods. • Develop strategies surrounding major New Orleans events and compression periods to maximize rate and revenue opportunities. • Ensure optimal utilization of Hyatt revenue management systems, distribution channels, and related technologies. • Build and maintain strong relationships with brand partners, ownership, third-party distribution partners, and other key stakeholders. • Train and support Sales, Front Office, and other property leaders on revenue management principles, systems, and strategies. • Identify emerging industry trends and evolving technologies and determine how they can be leveraged to improve revenue performance. • Develop and share revenue management best practices with the broader HRI portfolio.

• Be highly analytical while also understanding the commercial and operational realities of a full-service hotel. • Demonstrate the ability to translate data into clear, actionable revenue strategies. • Have strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. • Be comfortable moving between high-level strategic thinking and detailed property-level execution. • Possess exceptional communication and listening skills and be able to clearly articulate the reasoning behind revenue decisions. • Be highly collaborative and capable of influencing GMs, Sales leaders, Marketing teams, ownership, and other stakeholders. • Understand that The Barnett and Maison Métier are distinct hotels requiring distinct strategies, rather than approaching them simply as a combined portfolio. • Have the ability to identify emerging trends, anticipate changes in demand, and proactively adjust strategy. • Bring a hands-on approach and willingness to become deeply familiar with both hotels, their guests, their competitors, and the New Orleans market.
