About this role
Who We Are
GXBank is the FIRST digital bank in Malaysia approved by Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM). Backed by Grab, our mission is simple yet powerful: to leverage cutting-edge technology to serve the unserved and underserved—the everyday Malaysians and MSMEs who need it most.
We are a team driven by passion, innovation, and a shared purpose to redefine the financial landscape. If you're tired of legacy systems and want to build something that truly matters, you belong here.
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Establish, test, and maintain robust capital and liquidity analytics and forecasting models for the Digibank.
• Design and implement automated reporting processes and technology solutions to deliver actionable analytics and insights on balance sheet trends to the Asset and Liability Committee (ALCO).
• Proactively assess processes, outputs, and controls to drive the function toward best-practice operational excellence.
• Play a key role in the annual internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP) and capital-related stress testing exercises.
• Prepare comprehensive ALCO presentation decks and act as secretary to the committee, ensuring accurate documentation and smooth operations.
• Independently analyze large, complex datasets to identify patterns, trends, and strategic insights.
• Develop clear, compelling data visualizations and comprehensive reports to effectively communicate financial findings to key stakeholders.
Who We Are Looking For:
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in data analytics, finance, or banking (experience in capital and liquidity forecasting is highly preferred).
• Solid knowledge of data querying and visualization tools, specifically SQL and Tableau.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Willing to take on new challenges and be adaptive to a fast-growing and dynamic start-up environment.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work under pressure and tight schedules, cope with several tasks simultaneously, and be deadline-oriented.
• Creative problem solver who is comfortable with ‘blank sheet of paper’ assignments in a complex environment.
