You will own Intermodal SEA's 3P strategy managing cost and performance of 3P drayage capacity, drive operational excellence across over the road and ports and work on SEA's defect management workstream Key job responsibilities - Develop and own programs improving pricing and efficiency of Amazon SEA 3P landside operations - Engage with Internal Teams to onboard 3P linehaul capacity that optimizes for cost and performance - Leveraging large data and performance metrics to drive business results - Drive and improve drayage carrier performance such as carrier acceptance, On Time Arrival Work with maritime partners, internal partners to create correct processes to ensure linehaul provider can execute SEA loads successfully - Plan and Drive SEA's expansion plan on 1P(Our trailer) and plan for long term trailer requirements - Partnering with finance, legal and network teams to shape future growth plans and guide SEA and landside partners through new launches and other special projects A day in the life As Supply Chain Manager, you’ll drive and manage the implementation of creative, data-driven change in Amazon, leading improvement projects and program. You’ll use strategic thinking to define and implement an efficient project plan. Some managers are based on-site while others work remotely, depending on the most suitable option for their team and tasks. Supply Chain Managers have significant responsibilities, and you’ll deal with complex challenges with creativity, innovation, and leadership. With a responsibility extending beyond process improvements, you could also contribute to improving other areas of the business, like diversity, equity, and inclusion. Some include: - Review the performance and attainment with our internal supporting functions and partner teams - Build pricing models for drayage operations on Amazon SEA growth and own cost saving projects - Discuss and manage our cost performance with help of finance teams - Enhance operational performance on every program in partnership with your stakeholders by leading specific efficiency improvement programs for SEA landside.
