Job Description Job DescriptionFull-time on-site role for a Senior Accountant with a firm based in Sherwood Park, AB. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for leading compilation and review engagements, preparing and reviewing financial information and financial statements, preparing and reviewing tax returns for corporations, individuals, and trust, as well as building and maintaining strong client relationships. For the right individual, this position offers a path toward partnership as part of the firm's long-term succession plan. The Senior Accountant will work collaboratively with clients, team members, and stakeholders to meet organizational goals.
Qualifications will include a CPA designation in good standing, 3 or more years of public practice experience that includes tax and accounting experience. The candidate will also have experience with Caseware, QuickBooks, QBO, Sage, and Excel. The applicant will possess great communication skills, commitment to excellent client service and the ability to manage multiple priorities and work well in a team environment.
